Christmas Wish List 2004

It is that time of year again: My family and I exchange wish lists, to aid in our gift searches. I've attached my list to this entry. Also, please see last year's list for reference.
  • Digital watch for use while running. It should have a stopwatch, of course. It should also be waterproof, for those situations when Elizabeth takes me swimming.
  • Network print server. It should have an Cat-5 (wired) ethernet connection, and connect to a printer via a parallel cable. We would use this to allow any computer on our LAN to print stuff out. Something like this.
  • Long sleeve shirts (size large), for work. Non-ironing, please.
  • Blue jeans, size 34x32.
  • Belt, black or brown.
  • Gift certificate to “Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf”, which operates a coffee shop near to our house.
  • Gift certificate to AMC movie theaters, which operates a theater near our house.
  • Retractable Ethernet network cable, Cat-5 (for a laptop). Something like this.
    • Books
    • Books from the Sharpe Series by Cornwall. This is a series of books, of which I have none.
    • "The Guns of the South" by Harry Turtledove
    • "Orphanage" by Robert Buettner
    • "Neuromancer" by William Gibson
  • “Blokus”, a board game that looks interesting.
  • DVD: Lord of the Rings – Two Towers and Return of the King. Widescreen version, please.

So, so... How it come out? Did you get everything you wanted? Or were there some "regiftables" thrown in there?

Jeff:

I noticed that you stopped posting information about your FEMBA experience after the second quarter. Do you know if anyone else in your program is blogging about their experience with the program? I am consider MBA programs for 2006 and think the information obtain from bloggers gives you some good insights on the various programs.
